What is High Mounted Stop Light?
They are on the rear of the vehicle that light up automatically when the vehicle brakes. 'High-Mounted’ Stop Lamps (HMSLs) which are normally fitted in the centre of the base or top of the rear window.
According to NZTA, you will need this to pass the WOF
Simply connect the + and - wire to your brake light system and stick this light on your rear window.
